Flooding in D-town

With the weather warming up after the creek's frozen over several times, it was a mess in Dubois. People pulled together to fill and stack sandbags (I was in this group) while others used their backhoes to break up the ice. Some of the things could have been done more efficiently, but hey, as long as it gets done right.  

Way to pull together, Dubois! Praying for anyone who still has flooding on their property.

Another Book Suggestion!

Okay! Brilliant new book for you guys!
Matched by Ally Condie. I just finished it and it is wonderful! to me, it is a mix of The Uglies, by Scott Westerfield, and The Giver, by Lois Lowry, with a love triangle like in Twilight.
Anyways, read it! I need to find a copy of the second book, Crossed, and then in November, the third book, Reached, comes out!
