Who decided that it was a good idea to make people write about other people's writing. And then who added on to that making people write about what other people wrote about someone else's writing. I'm not impressed with literary criticism. My kind of literary criticism is a simple book review or creative analysis of a poem or something INTERESTING. I am soooo sick of learning about and reading about and writing literary criticism.
WHO CARES!
I just want to write fun stuff! Screw this whole boring writing thing. Teach me more stuff about writing novels and poems and kids books and fun stuff.
I wonder why I'm an English Major. My wonderful Mommy made a good point though. She told me that if I was majoring in anything else, I would be less-than-impressed with those as well.
So my rant is done.
